They even made 'shout outs' to the site on TG a few times, making this move even more stupid.

If BBC America showed TGUK episodes in a timely manner, I wouldn't have had to resort to that.

For me, it's not the timeliness so much as it is the modification of the soundtrack. Music that was carefully selected for a certain clip gets swapped out for something that doesn't work as well (presumably due to licensing issues) and ruins part of what makes Top Gear an award-winning show.

Frankly I'm surprised it took this long. Oh well at least BBC America is only on a week delay now, my cable company now has it in HD and they show the entire episodes now.

Too bad the episodes are still modified, though. That's what I hate.

True stupid music licensing laws, there is always the BBC iPlayer and the proper Google Chrome extensions.

That's BS!
Linking to copyrighted content is NOT infringing and is covered by the fair-use provisions in the DCMA.
For Fuck's Sake, linking to content is how the entire fucking internet works!
It would be one thing is the BBC gave us legal ways to buy the EXACT same episodes they air in the UK. Since the ones we get in the US are mangled abominations, people resort to pirating to get the same content.
Fuck Copyright!

That much was already clear - I was merely commenting on the stupidity of the situation, not placing blame!

Huh? BBCA has been showing new (regular season) eps the week after they premiered for a couple years now.
